Jax Steager can’t sit still. In addition to her work as master electrician and house lighting designer at the JCCSF, she is a company member of Impact Theatre in Berkeley, technical director of Edinburgh-based Gryphon Venues, lighting director at the Bracebridge Dinners in Yosemite, and she serves in the Air National Guard. She studied theatrical design at Loyola University New Orleans and San Francisco State, and on the rare occasions she’s not in a theater or under a fighter jet, she can be found in the weight room at the JCCSF fitness center or hiking in the redwoods.
