In celebration of , and just in time for Hanukkah, 3200 Stories teams up with the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival to curate a slew of Top 8 lists of some of our favorite Beastie Boys songs, images and videos.

In this edition, Tommy Shepherd of Felonious breaks down his favorite eight Beastie Boys re-mixes.

1. Root Down (Free Zone mix)

I love the production of this track. I like the fact that it's way different than the original. A true remix. It's all about that beat for me.

2. Paul Revere remix

I simply love Paul Revere. The song. I like the way it keeps all the good parts of the original song intact but gets added to.

3. Brass Monkey

Funny link but it's pretty dope though. It's a level that one would play on DJ Hero. A Mash up of Brass Monkey and Another One Bites The Dust

4. Whatcha Want Remix

When the genre of drum and bass dropped I always thought that Beastie Boys,Tribe and De La would be dope. Found this one and...not bad.

5. Get It Together remix

I like the original better but as remixes go this one hits.

6. The Move remix

Just Dope!! Never heard this one until I did little digging.

7. Whatcha Want - Cypress Hill remix

Cypress Hill and Beastie Boys: Nuff said...

8. No Sleep til Brooklyn (Wick-it Dubstep remix)

As soon as I ran across this version, I knew it was gonna be fresh without even hearing it.  Then I heard it...I was right
