Laura Paull 3200 Stories Producer

Laura Paull has been writing since childhood and has yet to run out of subjects for her stories. A New Yorker by birth and San Franciscan by choice, she enjoys working on stories that illuminate human values and reveal the secret workings of our connectedness. She seeks balance in yoga, tango dancing and mosaic art.

Laura studied literature and creative writing at Vassar College, then Latin American Studies at Stanford, where she experimented with bilingual stories and researched the Dirty War in Argentina. Her first screen writing credit was for the animated Canadian hit, “A Cosmic Christmas.” She went on to make the award-winning documentary film ‘Havana Nagila: The Jews in Cuba.” Coincidentally, the first short video she made for 3200Stories was “A Gift from Guantanamo,” a variation on the theme of Cuban Jews.
